Wendigo, translations from yore

In 2009, still on the SFFRANCO mailling list devoted to French-language Science-Fiction and Fantasy, Richard D. Nolane put out a call to translators for fantastic/horror tales published around the start of the 20th centiry. It is a period of which I love the style and themes, so I naturally applied.
And so was published Wendigo n°1 with, among others, L'Idole de Pierre, my translation of Seabury Quinn's short story The Stone Image.
Wendigo received a quite positive review in L'Écran Fantastique ; I can thus safely claim that my translation was not detrimental. :)
